Terms of Use
These terms govern access to and use of the GoSpotCamp public MVP.
Acceptance of terms
By using GoSpotCamp, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
MVP status
GoSpotCamp is an early-stage public MVP. Features, map coverage, moderation standards, and data sources may change at any time without notice.
No guarantee of camping legality or availability
GoSpotCamp does not guarantee that any spot is legal to camp at, free of charge, currently open, safe, accessible, or suitable for your vehicle. Always verify local rules, closures, fire restrictions, permits, and on-site signage before staying overnight.
Account use
Some actions, including submitting reviews and other user-generated content, require sign-in. You are responsible for activity taken through your account.
User submissions
If you submit reviews, reports, edit suggestions, photos, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit that content and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, misleading, abusive, or spam content.
- Do not submit private information about other people without permission.
- Do not impersonate land managers, agencies, or other campers.
Moderation and publication
GoSpotCamp may review, edit, reject, hide, or remove submissions at any time. Submission does not guarantee publication. We may also preserve moderation records for operational and safety reasons.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security, or scrape restricted parts of the service.
- Do not use the service to encourage trespassing, unlawful camping, or unsafe conduct.
- Do not misuse exported coordinates, public pages, or submission features in a way that harms the service or its users.
Third-party links and data sources
GoSpotCamp may link to official agencies, maps, reservation platforms, or other external services. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of third-party sites.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoSpotCamp will not be liable for losses, damages, injuries, citations, fees, towing, property damage, access issues, or other consequences that may result from relying on information displayed on the site.
Changes to the service or terms
We may modify these terms or the service itself as the MVP evolves. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
